About Us
Our genesis was rooted in necessity. As we ventured into Northern California for overlanding, we encountered fire bans across the board during the non-snowy months. Our quest to find the perfect propane fire pit that would tick all the boxes yielded no satisfactory results. The options available to us were either too large, unwieldy, deficient in flame, or simply too expensive to be viable for the average user.
After much trial and error, we finally arrived at a burner design that allowed for easy installation making a portable propane fire pit that our family adores and fulfills all our requirements. The compact footprint of an ammo can, which is ideal for families with space constraints. Now, we can easily carry the warmth and charm of a fire wherever our adventures take us. The children, in particular, are enamored by the sight of a towering flame.
Given the constant inquiries we received about our fire pit and whether we could create one for others, we decided to create FireCrate. Our aim is to bring this exquisite, affordable DIY Kit to the masses, allowing everyone to savor the delights of a cozy fire and the satisfaction of building it themselves.
