RotoPax Diesel Heater Adapter Kit — Standard

Turn a compatible RotoPax fuel container into an external diesel-heater fuel source with FireCrateUSA's replacement-spout adapter and fuel pickup tube. The Standard version has a simplified, non-vented design for setups that already have a suitable fuel-container venting solution.

For Setups With Existing Venting

This adapter does not have a built-in vent. Your fuel container must have an appropriate way to admit replacement air as the heater draws fuel. Do not operate a heater from an unvented, sealed fuel container. If you are unsure whether your container's existing venting setup is suitable, contact us before ordering.

What's Included

• FireCrateUSA RotoPax fuel pickup adapter (non-vented Standard version)
• 10+ feet of fuel line
• 18-inch bendable metal pickup tube, adjustable to your container
• Two rubber fuel line adapters
• Four fuel clamps

Compatibility and Installation

• Designed for Gen 2 RotoPax containers; also fits many Gen 1 spout designs. If unsure, contact us with a photo of your existing cap and spout before ordering.
• The internal flame arrester may need to be removed or modified to accommodate the pickup tube. Follow applicable container-manufacturer guidance before modifying fuel-container components.
• Transfer the factory spout gasket to the replacement adapter, and ensure the adapter is correctly seated.
• Shape and trim the pickup tube as needed so its end reaches near the bottom of the container.
• A compatible container vent is required and is not included with this kit. Do not assume that a sealed fuel container can support heater operation.
• Check all fuel-system connections for leaks before use. Follow your container and heater manufacturers' fuel-handling, operating and transport instructions.
